^this I had a 1991 Chevy S10 and can confirm that the GM L4 engine used the PF47 at least through that year. Given that the box lists 1990 as the newest engine, this box was likely printed in late 1989 or 1990 for the '90 model year engines.

I may be wrong, but any moisture that gets into the container should boil off when the engine gets up to temperature. ATF would be a different story. That said, I concur with @ripcord and @Speedbird001 ; it should be fine for topoffs or lawnmowers, or for an old car that burns oil!

I saw that too, and suspect he/she/they have better control of the impact than I do. The one time I took this approach, the drain plug came out so fast that oil sprayed all over the impact!
