    NAPA Full Synthetic

I restore old Gravely tractors. Same can be said for old Kohlers and Gravely engines. When you take an old Gravely apart, you see how oversized every bearing is, with proper oil maintenance, they'll last several owner lifetimes.

    NAPA Full Synthetic

NAPA has their Full Synthetic on sale in our area for $15.50 for 5qt jug. I've used Mobil-1 for 20 years, buying the 5qt jug from Walmart for ~$25. NAPA is bottled by Valvoline. Anyone use NAPA or Valvoline? Its a big price savings.

    Newbie wanting oil recommendations

IMHO you can't beat Mobil-1 from Walmart. Also BJs (when on sale). I found Amsoil coked in the PCV system when I used it 20 years ago in my Volvos. I was an Amsoil dealer for about 5 years. The grease is very good, but in my experience I think Mobil-1 is less volatile.

    Considering Amsoil

I used to use Amsoil, about 20 years ago. In my cars the volatility didnt seem to be as low as advertised. I found the PCV system would be clogged. I switched to Mobil-1 and have never looked back. You can't beat the price from Walmart. Everything I own has Mobil 1.
