    Termites?

These Red Headed Woodpeckers' are Federally protected, no one should be caught hassling these guys. They are a Royal pain in the rear here! They are not always going after insects, they Hammer the powerline pole out in front of my house, it has no insects. They Hammer the Cottonwood tree on my...

    Dissolving Road Salt off paint

^ This! White vinegar warm water 50/50, 10/15 drops dish soap per gallon, soak, wash with solution and sponge, blast with pressure washer but not too close. You may also use claybar w/ 50/50 solution to remove anymore deposits left behind. Then time to wax that puppy. I have used the claybar...

Bought at IAA 2008 Subi Tribeca Clean Title "Cheap" 142K

Thanks for bringing that to my attention, I did not notice that. I have been retired for many years, and only insurance companies sold salvage and clean titles at the auction for many years when I started in the mid 80's. Sometime about 1997/98, resellers, rebuilders w/reseller lic's were...

Bought at IAA 2008 Subi Tribeca Clean Title "Cheap" 142K

So, I have a pretty much complete Subi Tribeca 08 in my Hangar for a number of years gathering dust after using some parts to repair the salvage repaired Tribeca that I have been driving since 2016. It was cheaper to buy this parts car than to buy parts cause parts for Tribeca's are so hard to...

you landlords out there, do you roll or spray the inside?

I used this one, but it will not spray the super thick cigarette smoke stain blocking kills, just a warning if you have some smoke residue on walls and ceiling. It will bleed thru anything but Zinzer oil base blocker, or the super duper Kills. It does spray all other Kills with ease. "You never...

    Camper-454 dually- Oil Questions

When I had a 454 W/Camper, heck camper, trailer or empty, I ran Delo 400 15w40, but that was in SoCal and all 454's burn oil. So for your App, I would go with a Diesel 10w30/ 5w40 for winter, 15w40 summer. Do you burn 1 Qt per 1K miles? I have had 3 454's, all rebuilt by me.

you landlords out there, do you roll or spray the inside?

I have done 3 out of 6 of my 6 plex I use to own, but I also used to paint auto's for 35 years for a living. The downside, the prep work, took me about 2 days to mask everything and I did not spray the bath or kitchen. I also would only spray if I was going to pull up the carpet! The benefit to...

    Question for Copart experts

Sorry, but your not going to get that opportunity. But I have found prior auction list sale prices on vehicles that I have done a google search on before, so you may get lucky so day. And Phoenix is a tough market, I used to drive there from O.C. when I owned a bodyshop.

    Question for Copart experts

As one member said, you may get lucky in a week or 2 and be able to find the sale price online by the VIN#. Or if you are a member and the first to see it listed for auction and first to bid $25.00 minimum you will get an email notifying you did not win the auction, and the final auction price.

    Mobil 1 Marketing Material

Mobil is the King of Advertisement! They are not so good at math... Or Astrology. Well, maybe they are, maybe they are just so fussy about the harsh weather north of the 49th that they feel the fluid should be changed out a little earlier. Or, maybe they are trying to recoup some of the higher...

Anthony 'The Go Show' Gobert in Palliative Care

I have watched Anthony a few times at Fontana during practice days. I've seen him run under 130's which is wicked fast for a 2.36 mile 19 turn track, that really is not a real racing track. The track is a Joke as far as traction and flow, it's a total slip n slide on most of the turns. He broke...

A lot of "The Duel" was filmed on the Old Sierra HWY, near a couple of places I used to ride dirt bikes back in the early 80's. https://www.thennowmovielocations.com/2012/06/duel.html

    Hard primer or light strike?

@The Eric, I did a little digging, Winchester does use a specific primer called a 116M-282A. I have never heard of it. I don't believe it is available to the public for reloading or I would have seen it before. It seems as Winchester forgot to designate the primer, but the 1 1/2 is SP, the 6...

    Pet peeve!! MOBIL not MOBILE

I have seen it on this forum so many times, I do it sometimes just to silently tease some who still think the oil is spelled the same as the home they live in, in the city they also live in. No disrespect to those who live in a mobile home in Mobile, Alabama. I admit, it's probably not very...
