At what mileage and after how many months should synthetic blend oil be changed ? thank you

I have a 2014 Caddy XTS with 40,000 miles. Manual says change tranny fluid and filter at 90,000 miles. I think that's too long. I only use fully synthetic. Any thoughts as to when to change tranny fluid and filter.
