Does the transfer case on the 5th gen 4runner contain any brass, copper or soft metals? I know many people are using gl-5 in theirs and I would like to do the same but I’ve been obsessed with the idea of gl5 eating up the soft metals.

Within the next week or so im planning to do a drain n fill and filter change on my 17 4runner with the a750f. I hear alot of nasty comments about WS fluid and want to know if anyones had any problems from long term use of this stuff. Truck has just over 20k on it atm

Kind of late to ask now. But I’ve had my Yamaha raptor 700 for some time now (12 years) and I’ve used almost nothing but mobile 1 10w30. Is it true that a motor oil for cars can damage a motorcycle engine? Clutch, gears etc...
