The Current New Truck Market Is In Trouble

My 98 runs like a top at 176K and my Son's 03 does as well at 205K. Lower ball joints on the 4x4s don't last as long as one would like though.

Toyota’s stance on using a heavier weight oil

The stuff is fantastic, not well respected here but the same people who poor mouth MMO for not having ingredients that show up on a VOA are the champions of Valvoline Restore and Protect...which also shows nothing special on a VOA.

Need to learn how to do Oil changes I guess

If I ever get to the age to where I can't do oil/filter changes myself then I'll switch to EVs. We have 6 vehicles, plus some tractors, lawnmowers etc and I have NEVER had anyone change oil but me. I couldn't sleep at night knowing they sent that drain plug home with an impact.

Authentic military MRE’s: expiration date and favorites.

In a basement, they will probably last forever. The pop tart may not look like a pop tart anymore but it'll be fine to eat. I've ate those things at 13 years old and they weren't stored in a basement. They will seriously last forever if stored between 50-70.

I think the economy needs a recession

Interest rates being higher than true inflation, not what is in the index...but then we couldn't service the interest on the debt. Savers would be rewarded.

    Negative equity

But the access to credit artificially inflates prices by creating a false demand signal. Could you imaging what would happen if people had to pay outright for everything, prices for everything would be much lower.

New spark plugs in my 2007 Ford Fusion 2.3

So someone has changed those plugs in the past then if NGK came out vs MC but for future reference, NGK makes most of the MC plugs. the MC plug will have a number stamped on the base which will cross to a NGK part number.

If it has a 50% mortality rate then it won't spread much, the host will be dead before they can transmit it.

Is E15 Gas safe in a 2001 Blazer?

I have a vehicle that requires E80 or better, it is not flex fuel, I load a different tune to run E85. I always test it before I use it, there are only 2 stations around here that have it. I have tested E90 once but usually it is more E81/82. Oddly, one of the stations seems to switch to a...

Is E15 Gas safe in a 2001 Blazer?

Flex fuel vehicles have stainless steel fuel lines, a fuel filter without glue in it and injectors with stainless steel internals. All to deal with the Ethanol content.
