    I'm sticking with M1 and/or Castrol, I don't feel a need to try it.

Good points guys. I appreciate the responses. I get emails from ECS tuning and they advertise the Liqui Moly, and I didn't know much about it, other than their website and Wikipedia.

VW 502 00 for 2014 A4. Wondered if the moly disulfide really is an added benefit or just a reason to make it expensive. I know it’s an excellent lubricant.

I haven't heard much about this oil and I tried searching the forum, but couldn't find anything on it. Is this a good oil compared to M1 or Castrol? Thanks.

What does Audi use for brake caliper pin grease?

Actually I think it's referring to the brake pads in this step. I think they mean the pad guide surfaces and not the "guide pins".

What does Audi use for brake caliper pin grease?

I went ahead and bought the Audi service manual. From the manual: "Before inserting pads, clean guide surfaces and apply a thin coating of polycarbamide grease G 052 142 A2"

I owned a 2009, and it had some quirks but no major problems at all. Good reliable car- fairly fun to drive, but lacked power.

I would: Unscrew, wipe off, screw it in all the way, unscrew, check. Sounds like you're doing it correctly.

What does Audi use for brake caliper pin grease?

Yeah, I really need to buy/find a service manual. It's designed kind of like the Asian car boots.

What does Audi use for brake caliper pin grease?

That's what I'm wondering now. Doesn't make sense for rubber parts.

Too low. Screwing it in gave false reading that level was ok, when actually low.
