How to jack car so it is level for a CVT transmisison oil change?

Thanks for the tip do ramps fail at times, they are metal an exceed weight capacity of the civic. I primed the gears, and went for a short ride around subdivision. I checked my cars street- reference-level using the cars door jam. I've jacked up the car again using the ramps in front and jacks...

4.8L came out of the CVT drain plug, what next?

I primed the gears, and went for a short ride around subdivision. I checked my cars street- reference-level using the cars door jam. I've jacked up the car again using the ramps in front and jacks in the back and more less leveled to my street-reference-level. Here is what my cars level looks...

4.8L came out of the CVT drain plug, what next?

So sounds like a 10% difference when one is doing an oil level check hot vs cold. Anyone with a 10th gen Civic confirm if they check oil levels when the car is cold or hot?

How to jack car so it is level for a CVT transmisison oil change?

For leveling does the front-jack-point to ground distance the same as the back-jack-point to ground distance? Would both have to be the same...

    1. Does CVT transmission oil expand in volume if it is old and dirty? I've ran the car till operating temp and drained 4.8L, was expecting around (3.5 L, 3.7 US qt) as per manual. 2. Does draining the CVT when warm darin more oil than when cold? My 2017 civic now has 190K km on it, and...

    Pennzoil Platinum VS Ultra Platinum.

Is there any tangible benefit of PUP vs PP. My only concern is winter time, when upon startups engine receives the most damage. Would PUP benefit in better viscosity in the winter vs PP?

    Pennzoil Platinum VS Ultra Platinum.

Thanks for the response, sounds like there will be no real difference between the two oils PUP vs PP. If that's the case might as well save a few bucks.

    Pennzoil Platinum VS Ultra Platinum.

I have a 2016 civic 2.0 litre, non turbo. Should I buy the platinum or ultra-platinum for my vehicle, the ultra is $4 more. Read the ultra-platinum is for turbos. Currently running ultra-platinum, I wonder if I can mix the oil for my next oil change if I go the platinum route, as I have some...

    2016 Honda Civic 1.5T TGDI..DILUTED!

Oil dilution only affects the 1.5L turbo engines, correct? Considering the 2016 2.0L EX civic, thoughts?
