    Constr. Equipment Grease

    Unless you use a water washable sodium type grease the problem maybe the motor dust getting into the bearing and only more often perhaps weekly greaseing to purge the bearing will solve that. bruce

    Buster Specro will show all the metals present even when they are depleted. They only go down due to additive fall out as sludge or varnish. Thats why TBN is a good thing to look at even if CA is still high it has already nutralized asll the acid it can and that is why TBN is LOW. bruce

    welcome the PTFE teflon in this will do no good and may clog filters, there is more merit with the moly. to high priced there are other products out there that have more bang for the buck. bruce

    VOA's Gold vs Green

    Have VOA's done on them and wow what a difference in chemistry will post on Monday the test data but from memory the GOLD is very weak in DI package and TBN. gold TBN = 5.5 Green TBN = 8.5 Also the gold has a higher MG and lower CA than the Green.     Seal conditioners?

    normally seal conditioners or seal swell addtives are a after thought and most of the seal performance is due to ESTERs used in the oil. If seal swell is an issue stick with an ester containing oil like Redline or Amsoil maybe others but someone else can add. bruce
