I don't know of any compact SUV's fitting that criteria. Most brands have no desire to "Import" into the USA b/c there's plenty demand for those types of vehicles here for the last 20-23 years. Importing would not sell very well w/demand.

You're onto something about that media. That is some old "Yellow/Gold" media that is typical of cellulose from what I've seen. These are definitely old filters. Good history in the photos & congrats on the little one learning how to chop a filter in the meantime.

For my 15.5 HP Kohler Cammand I found the 3614 not fit well. I ended up using a Oil Filter PH8172 for proper fit. Is yours a Command? If so, the oring is not correct on that engine using that filter. Will it work yes but it's not 100% correct size.
