What will happen to the value of non-Tesla EVs coming off lease?

We searched carefully for a 2015 Leaf with the "lizard battery." It still degraded like crazy but not as bad as the originals. Still no liquid cooling at that point. Quaint.

    Tesla continues Silicon Valley expansion.

My Bolt hasn't needed anything in 50k miles. I rotated the tires and did the cabin air filter because I felt like it. What maintenance did you do on your Jeep in the first 50k miles?

2026 GMC Sierra EV Denali - Things aren’t going so well.

I'm sorry your Denali EV was a lemon. There's a thread on Reddit about a construction company saving a sh** ton of money by switching to EV trucks. They saved like $10k/year for each truck, maintenance included.

    2027 Chevrolet Bolt - Revealed

The Bolt allegedly handles a little better than the Equinox. Most people probably wouldn't notice the difference between an old Bolt and a new one.

Dirt Cheap Charging at a local Community College

My wife is a gov employee and gets a lot of free charging that way. From the city. She used to get there early enough to charge every day but now there's more competition.

    BYD is Pushing the Envelope

I've been following Donut Lab closely enough to think their battery is real, too. It's even better than this one! The automotive world is changing fast.

Tesla getting stronger vs. non-Tesla EV market

I'd be surprised if you really need gas. Tesla Supercharger isn't fast enough for you? Can't tow with a Blazer ev?

Tesla Basic Autopilot Suite Now a Paid Subscription Only.

Mostly it comes down to people who enjoy their commute or don't have one vs others who have a miserable commute.

Tesla Basic Autopilot Suite Now a Paid Subscription Only.

I think the $99/mo is going to be successful. Big cash flow. Some people could enable it for road trips only, then turn it off again. Plus there's the insurance discount. When you can sleep in the car, it'll be worth way more than that. IDK, I might pay $300/mo if I could sleep in it. That would...

How long do electric car batteries last?

GM's got a really good reputation for long term battery life. Once they replaced the Bolt packs that caught on fire... Have y'all heard of the Finish solid state battery that's coming out in a few months? If it's the real deal, this conversation becomes moot.
