Anyone see a major conflict in this trailer

Yeah, I had an F550 bucket truck that I bought from a buddy. I had to get commercial insurance and was supposed to stop at scales even though it was only for personal use. At least I didn’t need a CDL to drive it! The whole thing was a hassle and I sold it after a month.

Not a great conversation with my local Infiniti dealer today. Least they were honest.

This is a difficult one. If the dealer or Infiniti really cared about you as a customer they’d replace that thing as it’s obviously a common failure and you’re just a few thousand miles out of warranty. BUT at the same time you bought the car knowing it had an X mile warranty and now that you’ve...

Wow, Tesla laying off more than 10% of its world wide workforce, two Top Executives leaving

If you look at a traditional car company they are constantly doing redesigns and introducing new stuff. Except for Cybertruck the S3XY are kinda stale at this point. Sure the 3 just got a refresh but it’s my opinion the Y should have got the refresh at the same time at least. Yes they do...

Pics of Nissan Leaf exterior detail

Looks good! How many health bars does the battery have? What’s the range like? No matter how clean it looks these things are duds IMO. That 2012 Leaf I had for a few weeks got 20 miles to a charge. I was chasing outlets even with a 3 mile commute.

    Optimal EV Charging

Yeah, I feel like faster DC faster chargers is important to charge more cars in the same amount of time. Yes, us Bolt owners will still be puttering along at 50Kw no matter how great the charger is but so many modern EVs absolutely rip along at 200Kw+ that a 50Kw charger is obsolete. Kyle did...

Your motor is junk because you ran it without oil.

What is your current favorite oil filter to use?

Microgard Select. Good price, good filter. Cut and posts here have all been excellent. I obviously don’t need any oil filters for my own car but it’s all I use on partner, friends, family, oil changes.

try a different port or cable. what does it do? What does the light on the switch say? Most of them have an indicator for every port and it should show which devices are connected at gigabit and which ones are connected at 100mbps.

Which domestic 3-row crossover would last the longest?

When I test drove an Explorer with the 2.3 I hated it. The 10-speed was all over the place. The older Explorer with the 3.5 would be the one I'd pick of those BUT that would be assuming it is priced the lowest as it's the highest mileage and oldest. Water pumps on those are an issue...

    remote desktop question

OK, there is your problem. What is it plugged into? The router or a switch? If so, what model is that device? Do you have a different ethernet cable you can try? You can manually force it to gigabit in software but that's a bad solution.

Ford EVs can now charge at Tesla Superchargers

Equinox EV looked good in the video. Interior similar to Blazer EV. Lots of parts sharing across the whole lineup. I'm still very excited for Equinox EV. I think Volvo EX30 is going to be a hit and will have a cost advantage for sure but it's going for a more minimalist cheap interior while the...

Ford EVs can now charge at Tesla Superchargers

I think GM is catching up. Now they just need to produce the vehicles! I am not always a huge fan of Kyle - he talks too much but overall, look at these offerings! And some of the specs/trims he mentions in the video are not quite accurate. BUT to me that is a good lineup of competitive EVs...

What is the single best vehicle to buy if you're a tightwad?

I don't agree. Subaru delivers worse fuel economy, higher maintenance cost, and lower reliability than a regular FWD vehicle. Plus all four tires need to match. All bad things if you're trying to be as cheap as possible.

Smart Stop Start - How does it work?

Every time you turn on the car just open and close the hood. That will turn start stop off until you turn the car off again. Not the best solution but better than nothing :D

This. I suspect OP has never noticed the issue since his internet only has a download speed of 100Mbps anyway.

    remote desktop question

OK, you need to be more clear as you are mixing up units here. Network speeds are in bits while file sizes are in bytes. GB is gigabyte while Gb is gigabit for example. There are 8 bits in a byte, so like I said before, 11MB/s is 88Mbps which is almost the limit of "fast" ethernet (100Mbps...

    remote desktop question

Even RDP file transfer should be faster than 11Mbps... I just tested it and on my systems it was about 150Mbps... while copying over a shared folder on the network got me full line rate/gigabit. What router do you have? Are all these computers wired? All plugged directly into the router or are...
