I've got Valvoline synthetic 10w30 HM in my 76 f100 with the original 302. Are modern oils adequate for these old motors, or should I use some special oil with extra ZDDP? Also what weight would you guys recommend?

I've got a 1976 f100 with a modern 289 motor at 28,000 miles. What weight of oil would you use in it? It's at 28,000 miles and I get it out on the interstate about once a month for a good long drive.
