I just tried Jescar Power Lock Plus Polymer Sealant

IMO the Ultra Lock+ has slightly better shine, and significantly more durability. Ease of application was essentially equal for me. I think it's worth the extra cost.

Yvan Larcoix came to MY house yesterday!!!

Wow... THE Yvan LaCroix. That is one visit to remember, for sure. Love watching his videos, especially on using the rotary polisher.

    New Microfiber Wash

A big +1 for P&S Rags to Riches. Been using it for over a year now, and IMO it is the best around. And as mentioned, a good deal when on sale- especially the gallon size.

    Valvoline Restore & Protect

Just my opinion, but given the substantial interest in VRP... perhaps this thread should be pinned. Then again, maybe it doesn't meet the criteria for it-

Do you ever have dreams of lost loved ones?

Very, very rarely, but not too long ago I had a dream about my father who passed away about 55 years ago to the day.

Who else doesn't use tire dressings?

I sometimes spray mine down with some 303 protectant. Not shiny, which is what I like.

Jescar Ultra Lock Plus: Great Stuff.

I've only bought it on-line. There are several outfits that carry it, I bought my last bottle on Amazon. It's sold in bottles ranging in size from eight ounces to one gallon for those who drive long freight trains. Only a thin coat or two is needed.

    Auto RX

It has worked for me. Put a bottle in my '95 Civic in with the last oil change a few weeks ago. Still have a few bottles left.

Jescar Ultra Lock Plus: Great Stuff.

It is the ONLY stuff that I've ever used, which caused people to ask me if I had just bought a new car, or otherwise thought it was new. Twice last year, once earlier this month (and the last time I hadn't washed it in at least two weeks!).

Jescar Ultra Lock Plus: Great Stuff.

A few years ago I decided to give Jescar Power lock + sealant (the predecessor to Ultra Lock +) a go, and was thoroughly impressed with it. Super easy to apply and wipe off, and durability to boot. So last year I purchased some Ultra Lock + and applied it to my 2017 Accord EX-L V-6/6MT after...

What is your standard OCI interval?

I usually run about 5000 miles per oil change in both my 2017 Accord & 1995 Civic. I've run the Civic OCI as high as 8000-ish miles once, but that was an exception. The Accord, of course, has always seen synthetic oil and my Civic, mostly so since I've owned it.

Cerium Oxide Glass Polish for windshield etc

Yep, cerium oxide is the stuff. Nothing better for truly polishing glass and removing minor imperfections. A number of years ago when I was younger, I used Superox-100T cerium oxide compound to polish the windshield of my '95 Civic, which I still have(!). I used a TON of elbow grease polishing...

    Bilt Hamber Touchless

I haven't used Bilt Hamber Touch-Less but I do have some Auto-Foam. Pricey stuff here in the USA and because of that, I prefer to use 3D Super Pre-Soak followed by a neutral-pH detergent such as Optimum Car Wash. Both items applied with a spray gun attached to the end of my pressure washer. I...

Do you short-shift your manual transmission vehicle?

With my 2017 Accord EX-L V-6/6MT I often skip gears going downhill, on occasion I'll skip two depending on the grade. Sometimes I'll skip a gear if accelerating briskly but not wanting to drive aggressively (which I never do at my age!). Driving my '95 Civic... almost never skip.

How often do you wash your car in an automatic car wash?

Some years back I ran my '95 Civic through the local car wash a few times, but that is it. My 2017 Accord EX-L V-6/6MT has only been hand-washed by myself, mostly with rinseless washes. The Honda dealer gave me free car wash cards when I used to take the Accord in for an oil change, but there is...

    Who uses microfiber towels?

I use microfiber all the time. The Rag Company's Double Twistress for drying (also have the Gauntlet but haven't tried it yet), Spectrum 420 for interior, Diamond Weave for windows, and a large number of other towels from them because microfiber is just plain cool IMO. The cheap Costco towels...

My current exterior maintenance routine for my 2017 Accord consists of Optimum No Rinse for rinseless washing and P&S Bead Maker as a drying agent. Protection: two coats of Jescar Power Lock+, one coat of Optimum Spray Wax and a final liberal spray/wipe of P&S Bead Maker the following day. My...
