"NormanBuntz" do you take the filter off and drain it, or leave that amount of dirty oil in the system when you change your oil on the 2nd interval?

thanks "Linctex", the only problem is that I don't have a garage, and I am right on the 100% saltwater backbay....and if the filters are not made of Stainless Steel... a year on the vehicle is about enough with the corrosion rate around here....

I believe that my Kia Sorento calls for Kia Red-1 transmission fluid. Can anyone tell me how many quarts it will take to do a quick drain & refill. and if there are any other fluids that can be substituted for the Kia Red -1 and/or where to get these fluids at a reasonable price. thank you,
