Suggest a Practice Electric Guitar Amp

Morning guys, I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good electric guitar practice amp, 15 watt or less. I would like all the effects bells and whistles, reverb, headphone output with bluetooth?? etc etc. I don't even know where to start. Fender? Marshal? Does Bluetooth exist for an amp...

    Mysterious windshield haze

Are you using an old floor broom to clear snow off your car? Has anyone in the family done it? If you are using a dirty brush, the dirt gets embedded in the ends of nylon bristles and will haze your windshield fast.

    Dead Snakes

My guess is it is a big stray cat. A cat will chew threw the skull to kill it fast for whatever reason. I have seen this done to birds. The head looks bashed in but it is chewed. Sounds like you have some free pest control going on over there. A saucer of milk to him.

Looking into rotors - Dura brand?

If you are in Canada, check out the Wagners and Centric rotors at a local Canadian Tire. "Cheap" has gotten good enough that you will most likely be happy with their house brand rotors. There are usually sales as well.

How to remove oil filter & not get covered in oil

Some People use a very sharp awl to poke a hole in the filter at the lowest point AFTER loosening the filter a bit. Don't poke a hole in the filter and then find you can't remove it.

no electric cars, no hydrogen cars, how about air?

IIRC this is old, tried, true, and tired old tech that actually works. People in Africa and poor nations is where this idea was originally floated a long long time ago. There are a lot of alternatives out there to oil is what interests me most. We are dreaming up ways of re-freezing the Arctic...

    The new Civic is hot

*Cough* People are forgetting the "Mazda Grin" circa ~2010 already. If they got their rust issues under control they are forgiven IMO with their new looks. Mazda is really picking up steam again. What was the design intent on that mug? Samurai fencing mask or something???

    Broken exhaust valve

Herrstig, Trav, and Johnny are making a lot of sense in what they are writing. I would still refund you on the Tune at least if my employees never even pulled the plugs to check the gap and read them for engine condition before starting. This is 101 level stuff here really. A good Mechanic...

    Why are IAC Valves Heated?

Rand you are correct I didn't read it right.

    Why are IAC Valves Heated?

IIRC it is to establish a reading where inrush air can warm or cool on a 5V sensor to a baseline that would work in all climates. If Cold there is less Resistance than when Warm, and this balance has to be within a sensible range to work where the PCM is only interpreting a Voltage 0-5VDC, and...

    Broken exhaust valve

If you find evidence that the plug electrode failed on the old plug after a tune they should pay for all the repairs and refund you on your tune. But I have 0 experience with tuning so don't explode on anyone with my advice haha. Personally, I would refund everything if you were my customer...

    Broken exhaust valve

^Yes the rust is confusing to me. I am under the impression tuning would involve a lot of indexing etc so why rust. Maybe not a great tuning shop to tune on ancient plugs?? I am hoping pic city of the valve seat if it is notched or still has the plug piece embedded in it.

    Broken exhaust valve

3-Way valve job (if that lingo still exists and applies to your valve geometry), machine the head flat and any PM stuff that is bothering you do it at the same time is pretty much it. Valve seals for sure. Viton does wear then you get the pita morning puff of smoke that isn't great for the CAT...

    Broken exhaust valve

Is it possible if you tune that the gaps were played with a lot in the past weakening the plug electrode? When weakened, under high RPM it breaks off, and that little piece of metal loose in the combustion chamber could break a valve but hey, it is a guess. I would inspect the valve seat and...

Hey, I have owned GM and I like them too. Easy to work on. Good sheet metal, great paint and great clear coat. I like Honda, Toyota, and GM. Great cars that fit my lifestyle and small budget and you don't need any strange tools for the basics. Funny stuff in this thread lol!! The Soviet...
