    Our family's 18 Golf R shows a top temp of 109 C (228 F) regardless of the oil (either 0W30 or as it has now a 0W40)

    EA888 how many go by the 10k mile factory recommended OCI...

    Except for price why not just go 5k miles on a 504 0W30? These are excellent oils. If you look at the UOAs in the link below (2018 Golf R), the M1 ESP 0W30 run is just over 5k miles and the wear numbers are quite good. (I cant imagine a 502 oil giving better #s)...

The problem is that it seems to only come in a 5 litre jug and with our Golf R needing 5,7 litres I would need to buy two jugs...dont want to do that.
