Good deal. Love the X3s, can't beat them for on-road comfort, efficiency, styling, and just being fun to drive. My wife has a 2020 and my parents liked it so much they bought one for themselves. So did my wife's mom. LOL

that actually might not be terrible to do - given that it's mostly flat with some bends in it. Could probably just bend the sheet metal in a vice and mimic the factory bends well, mock with cardboard first. (see the first pic in the thread).

Correct, that's not my LR! Those hoses are great, I always have them on hand. I use them on my other vehicles just so this doesn't happen...but my parents didn't get the memo.

Basically 4 layers lol - plastic door trim covers the plastic rocker panel cover, then the plastic rocker panel cover covers the outer rocker, then the rocker cavity, then the inner rocker. I've used that with good results in the past. I think it helps that with the rocker opened up I can access it better.

Sand and paint anything visible. Fill any cavities with fluid film to stop any existing rust.

The Toyo OCIII are great tires, I've had 3 sets. On either of my Jeeps I rarely had to use 4WD on road in the snow. Excellent off road, surprisingly good in the mud for an AT.

Meguire's D110 and Gtechnique Ceramic Sealant are my go to for a wash and shine, the Meguires is very concentrated and lubricates well, and the Gtechnique stuff is an amazing drying aid (spray it on the wet panels as you dry)...

Definitely would! I had an 09 Grand Cherokee, same as your 07. the WL 2 row reminds me a lot of that generation in a good way. Very smooth and quiet, but still feels somewhat rugged and capable.

I'd agree, I was hoping it'd be an RT with the Hemi when they told me a Durango, since Enterprise/National seems to have a few Hemi ones.

No, we flew into Anchorage and went south, saw Seward, Whittier, Aleyska etc. Absolutely stunning. Didn't really have time to think about the rental much, the beauty of Alaska was much more on my mind lol.
