With lspi manu's have a real issue they can possibly deny warranty simple on oil choice. At a minimum with direct injection I would look at what oils meet your manu's spec. Good luck with it, Burla

This is a great thread, as zinc both encourages wear and discourages it. Would it not be better to have nothing in the oil for break it? I like the idea, but I think it would take some pretty fancy testing above my pay grade to answer the question.

The Hemi and Coyote are two engines both known for their ticks, that sound more like knocks. They tick for two different reasons, but either can benefit from hearty oils like the one you are using now. Also, you can add lubegard biotech to any oil to also give you protection for the metal...
