i have heard the using the popular hdeo 15-40's might not be suitable for mc's equipped with cat converters? it seems like if these oils are designed for mixed fleet, gas and deisels, that this would have been taken into consideration? any truth to this matter, or is this another internet...

i see on the castrol usa site where the new name for the "rx super" 15w40" is "gtx diesel. maybe it'll be easier to find.

anybody body ever used them here? i see where they have a mc specific 10w40, also available in 20w50, called 3000t for 3.99 at one of the local dealers. petroleum base. looks like it might be good for 2 or 3 g changes? thanks, penz

at least in my area of south eastern va, the advance auto house brand with the fram like sure grip feature, are on sale buy one, get one free. i beleive i read here that they aren't frams? anyway, seems like a nice 2, 3 thousand mile filter, even if they are. maybe to use in a beater? penz
