Switching from 0w-20 to 0w-30 experience

Difference was negligible for me in the 3.6L Durango going from XW20 to XW30. Same MPG, same oil pressure noticed. A little more film thickness can’t hurt the 3.6L.

    Bridgestone Ecopia HL 422 Plus-noisy!

OE tire on the Dodge Durango, replaced them around 64,000 miles. Wear was even due to monthly pressure checks and 5-6k rotations. They are designed to be fuel efficient that’s about it. They were replaced with a Michelin’s that are still in good shape with 85k on them currently but will need...

    2024 6.7L SO Cummins 38.2k mi; VPBE 7.9k mi

Idle time will impact your fuel dilution for sure. Cummins guideline states 5% fuel dilution in their service bulletin from years ago so you are due for a change IMO from the data provided.

LF16006 ran for 2 years, 788hrs, first oil change on Cummins 6.7L common rail

Is this your under maintained equipment or something you’re servicing for a company that poorly maintains there equipment, just curious?

Powerstroke 6.7L oil drain-back concern; filter?

The Donaldson P502503 has a silicon ADBV, this filter is pretty popular due to the 99% efficiency rating @ 15 micron with Powerstroke owners. https://bobistheoilguy.com/forums/threads/donaldson-p502503-virgin-powerstroke-6-7.272377/

How long do lower ball joints last?

Depends on vehicle/road/driving conditions, I've had some changed at 118k and the next set only make it 62k before needing replaced.

    Anderson - gone

I found them to be pretty good considering the entry level pricing. The best deals were on the blemished lowers. The lower parts kits were occasionally on sale/special, no complaints they functioned as intended.

How do you choose an oil filter?

I'd look at that Carquest Premium 85334 cross reference.

1 Year and just 33 hours on oil - Change? Mitsubishi 4G64 2.4L Engine

If it's under warranty and you keep your records, I'd just change it. For the 20-30 minutes of your time, and a couple quarts of oil it's an easy decision to make for me.

Suzuki Vinson 500 and Yamaha Kodiak 400 engine oil.

They probably call for 10w40 originally in the owner's manual. The 5w40 QS Euro should get a pass, I would skip the Castrol GTX as it is (Resource Conserving), whatever you pick make sure it does not indicate Resource Conserving on the label. Wally World sells Supertech Motorcyle/ATV oil JASO...

    Amsoil DTT 10W-30, 10K, 19 Ram 2500, 6.7 iSB Cummins, 69K

I would avoid the 15w40 in the newer hydraulic lifter 6.7L, there’s a TSB against it. A quality 5w40 will be fine.

Old virgin Mobil DELVAC 15w-40 VOA

Looks good, should work well in your Dakota.

    Kubota Z781KWi-54 Oil Filter Recommendation

If it sits horizontally make sure it has a silicon anti-drain back valve, probably one of the smaller 3/4"-16 threaded filters such as Fram TG4967 or Carquest Premium 85394.

2 Gallons of Rotella T6 5W-40 - What to use it in?

You can mix it, but I would just use it straight in the Kubota or Generac as is.

oil filter change interval for 7.3L PSD?

In my Ram & old John Deere, one ounce of two-stroke oil per gallon of diesel is what I use. Supertech TCW-3 at Wally World is the cheapest usually.
