    GL4 rated oil for vw transmission in 75w140.

    All mounts are new. It's an 02m transmission and every 02m has this problem with a lightweight flywheel. The clutch does not chatter when engaged, only in neutral. I currently run 75w90 in it. Does anyone know of a GL4 rated 75w140? I see elf makes some for Europe, but unavailable in the u.s.

    The flywheel is a single mass, the OEM flywheel was dual mass. The lighter weight of the flywheel doesn't absorb the vibrations. I need to run a thicker oil to quiet gear chatter.

    Looking for a GL4 with a higher vicosity. I have gear chatter in my trans from installing a lightweight flywheel. Looking to quiet it down. Thanks for any suggestions.
