This is a full floating axle with inner and outer tapered bearings. What is confusing me is when I check runout with out an axle shaft in, the runout is near zero. I even tried it with another axle shaft and it went back to the 10 thousandths.

Ok I was able to take some measurements today. The wheel itself had about .030. The rotor had about .019 - .020. I was not able to get my harbor freight dial indicator setup to get a decent reading on the hub face. But I actually put a whole different hub on from another axle I had laying...

At the rotor there's probably 1/8 to 3/16 inch wobble at the outer part of the rotor. At the tire it's slightly more. 1/4 to 5/16

It's part of the delvac line so I wouldn't think it would be of lower quality. The specs for this grease seem similar to other greases that are rated GC LB.

Our local Blain's farm and fleet has this grease cheaper than most everything else around town. It seems like its geared toward heavy duty trucks and equipment. I'm just curious why it doesn't have the GC and LB ratings. Would it be a good chassis grease for automotive chassis?

I was able to do a little more diagnosing. I unplugged the roof beacon switch and the draw went away. I need to find out where the factory roof beacon wires are. I'm assuming it just wires above the headliner for a flashing snowplow light. I could hear when I plugged/unplugged the switch a click...

I should be able to unplug the roof beacon switch. The overhead console on this truck only has dome lights in it. I can drop it down and see if there's anything else up there for trucks with more options.

I will try that. The truck also has an IPC/DIC fuse that also feeds the cluster. It did not change the draw when I pulled that one.
