NGK Plug check... They look OK

So, worn electrodes are a sign of fake plugs? It's easy to blame someone else for other potential problems, but to just assume they were fake? Come on...

Apparently either SKF doesn't make their Bearings as good as they used to or RockAuto sold me a counterfeit.

Isnt that pretty much how all online warranties work? Or their other option is to ship back the one you have and then they ship you another.

    Fake NGK plugs on Amazon

RockAuto gets their NGK from authorized distributors though. Same place as every other legit source.

    Post your latest parts purchase

Completely normal and to be expected. Long gone are the days when each manufacturer had its own single point of manufacturing. Bids go out to those who have facilities that produce parts to a specification. The same part number could be made in several locations globally with various...

RockAuto Sucks! or How Rockauto charges excessive shipping with pics.

Theft when they havent charged you anything yet? You know the letters on the trucks are just placeholders, not necessarily a location. Why would any company knowingly discourage sales? The way I see it Rockauto is a DIY website for DIYers. If you want someone to hold your hand, go ahead and pay...

RockAuto Sucks! or How Rockauto charges excessive shipping with pics.

"It would help if RA had a feature that said "Hey if you switch this X brand part to this Y brand part, you can avoid an extra shipping fee"" They do: https://www.rockauto.com/help/?page=2#MINSHIPCOST

    Gates fan control module - opened/returned ?

So when you go to a brick and mortar auto parts store and ask to see the part in the box...do you think the retailer sends that opened box back to their supplier? If the part is what you ordered and looks new...install it. You have the warranty coverage.

    Gates fan control module - opened/returned ?

I don't think Rock auto ever paid for warranty returns. Does the store in town pay for your gas to drive to the store and warranty a part?

    AC Delco oils on RockAuto

In my experience if they send the wrong part...RA will own up to it and arrange for the correct part to be delivered. If you order the wrong thing, it's up to you to send back.

First real issue with Rock Auto and shipping

Nothing to do with "no humans". A "human" on the other end of the phone would be looking at the exact same thing as you are. Retailers do not keep any secrets from customers. Once the package is in the shipper's hands it's up to them. Shipping in general is slow now. There was a recent WSJ...
