I've always thought that ATX fluid is highly detergent. But have been reading otherwise here. What are the facts? I guess with the lack of internal combustion slop there really is not a great need for detergents?

Is there a table of oil specs by brand and weight somewhere on this forum?

One way I use Rislone oil additive is to soften hard gaskets. I first soak the hardened gasket in lacquer thinner till soft then soak in Rislone for 24 hours. Then let air dry for 48 hours. The old gaskets come out good as new.

What is a good filter to add onto the ATX of a Ford AX4N tranny? I am concerned with pressure drop. I do have a Magnifine filter but would like a bypass type sub micron filter. Any ideas?
