Just went on the Fram website to look up a filter for my Honda CB1000R. It now lists the Fram Ultra XG6607 along with the PH6017 motorcycle filter. This is the first time I saw Fram listing the Ultra for motorcycle use. Just wish the filter was black!!

In order of priority it is most important for the engine to have oil pressure and flow over retention size.

E-85 in our town is now $2.69 Gal. Regular is now $2.59 Gal. When they first started sell E-85 it was about a $1.00 less a Gal.

Just went to Walmart and Fram removed the efficency ratings from most of the new boxes. So maybe they are only 99% for the three filters listed on the website.

Just saw Motorcraft 10w30 HDEO at Walmart $17.97 for a 5QT bottle.

Would you buy a Fram if it had metal endcaps? Fram keeps trying to defend the fiber endcaps instead of giving the customer what they want. I think any other company would listen to the customer and give them what they want. Even if the endcaps are just as good as metal, nobody seems to what them.

What is up with the price of E-85? It is now only 5 cents cheaper then gas. A few years ago it was about $1.00 cheaper!!

Did a oil change on my 85 Honda V65. The only oil filters at the store were the black death cans. I crossed the PH6010A over to a Mobil 1EP M1-104 car fliter. Will this be ok? or should I have bought a motorcycle filter?

When looking up filters at Advance Auto they had a Beck/Arnly for my Altima. Anyone ever heard if there any good or who makes them? The price was $8.44.

I was getting gas at a BP ststion the other day and they had a grade of gas that says it has a lead substitute. It was a 87 octane gas that costed 10 cents a gallon more then the regular 87 octane. Is this a bunch of ** or would this gas be good for old cars and small engines.

I was in Menards today and they got in a new supply of Rotella 10w30 in gallon jugs for $6.97.
