I just bought a 2018 JD with a Yanmar diesel 25 hp engine. What weight oil would be best for summer usage ?

I have two corvettes that were only driven about two hundred miles each this year due to illness. Normally I change the oil each fall but with low miles is it okay to wait until next spring to change oil ? Dino oil in 72 vette and synthetic in 2003.

I will soon take delivery of a 2018 Fat Boy and after I reach the 1000 mile mark I will need to decide if I want to use the Harley synthetic or use Amsoil synthetic motorcycle oil. Of course I am receiving pressure from the Harley salesman to use their oil . Thoughts ?

How efficient are these and wouldn't it be more efficient with a fan activated cooler instead of the no fan cooler as installed on 2018 Harleys ? Most of my riding will be non stop and go or heavy traffic.

I have a 2004 BMW 525 I with 120000 miles on it. I just had the trans fluid changed. It has been shifting fine BUT in cold weather it shifts at a much higher rpm and stays in each gear much longer before shifting. When the trans warms up, shifting returns to normal! Is trans wearing out?

I have a 72 Corvette LT1 and have been using Pennzoil LL 15w-40 oil in it. I read on the corvette forum that modern oil does not have any zinc which these engines should have. They said I should add four ounces of ZDDP Plus with each oil change! Correct?
