Is Castrol still one of the best anti LSPI formulas?

Trifecta recommends it if you ask. Strictly due to how lspi prone these engines are and amsoils 100% protection. I run 5w20 in mine. They changed nothing to change the spec from 5/30 to 0/20. They did it for cafe brownie points. Thinner oil does provide better fuel economy and more hp. You have...

Is Castrol still one of the best anti LSPI formulas?

I persoanlly run amsoil ss in mine. I have a 19 and its trifecta tuned, mamba wga, gfb bpv, gmpp intake, full catless exhaust. The current oil specs allow up to 3 lspi events. Amsoil is the only oil that promotes 100% lspi protection. I run the ss for 7-9k whenever the olm gets to 0%.

Mix Rotella T6 5w40 with rest of Euro Castrol 0w40

A word to those running Rotella T6 and other HDEOs in gasoline engines because some loudmouth on BITOG or some forum told you to. Don't. I used to tell this to people all the time; that HDEOs don't belong in gasoline engines, but I've learned a lot more lately as to specifically why that is the...

    Need help -25 ltft.

Just a update to everyone, i swapped tune/injectors back to 60 and the issue is alot better. I did turn the key on with the 26 injectors out and one of them got damp so i assume its a tiny leak. I thought swapping would fix it. but just wanted some more advice and it worked. Thanks everyone who...

    Need help -25 ltft.

Yes i have a tune for the 60's. Im only assuming at this point. Ive noticed worse mpg, more vibrations, less power, slight bit more turbo lag. First i thought it was a purge event. But not if its having to subtract fuel? Just today it did it again. It would slowly creep up from -3 "where is...

    Need help -25 ltft.

Platform is 2012 cruze 1.4 manual. I have a hot dynotune on it and its been perfect for about 6 months until now. My idle is super rich and has a rich missfire if i hold rpms below 1500. Driving is perfectly normal. The ltft like to hang around -3 to +3 while driving normal or under hard pulls...

Sorry, but I need help again

With a scan gauge or plug in obd thing. +10 to -10 is acceptable. If your ltft are say -30 that means its pulling 30% fuel over stock map. So that would say leaky injector you know stuff like that. If it was like +30 you would have a large vacuum leak or something since its adding %30 fuel...
