Were yours on a daily driver? Maybe its becasuse I drive like a grandma ? Can't comment on the stopping becasue mine quickly and easily overwhelm my tires and I use fresh DOT4 LV Ford flex 5300 pounds with Michelin crossclimaten2 tires so it's easy to overwhelm the tires.

Update I put on 22k miles since my last update so 34k total on these pads. I am at about 70-75% of the pads works like it did at day one. Rotor has a slight lip from wear. Outside and inside pads wear at slightly different rates but I suspect that is not related to the pads but the brake system...

Its called an Ecvt its a gear box with a planetary setup and two electric motors, it is more robust and reliable and durable than any conventional automatic transmission out there, sorry not sorry.
