    Deck stain suggestions

I honestly don't know if Pennsylvania allows it or not. Never heard of it to be honest. I'll see if I can do some digging. Why go for an oil based semi-transparent?

    Deck stain suggestions

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I'm looking about 6 yearsish away. Starting to save up for a new one after my wedding next march! I'm not sure what kind of wood, I always just put a dark Thompson's Water Seal stain over it.

    Deck stain suggestions

Howdy bitog, I need deck stain suggestions. I bought my house three years ago, the previous owners didn't do a good job staining the deck, seems like they let it go unstained for years. I'll basically need a new deck probably in a couple years from now, as some of the boards are soft and...

Doesn’t someone here work at the Arlington GM plant?

I don't work for GM, but am an embedded software engineer who writes control system software for construction equipment. Chip shortage is hurting us badly. We've had to change chips and I've spent the better part of over half a year porting software to new hardware (chips). Any questions...

Rebuilt carb on old Poulan Micro XXV running away

Thanks for that! I was able to tune it pretty well! It's running pretty good now, still need to see how it does with the air filter in it, but was able to make a couple cuts. Kameleon, I have the Deluxe Micro XXV. I just got done with the 16" one. Replaced fuel line, fuel filter, rebuilt...

Rebuilt carb on old Poulan Micro XXV running away

Howdy all, I've been in "restoration" mode for awhile replacing carbs on older tools for myself and my dad as backup tools (leaf blower, weed trimmers). This time my dad had two old chainsaws that he would like to be work horses for smaller brush. The two chainsaws are older Poulan Micro XXV...

Oil for a 1965 F100 Inline 6 with flat tappets and hydraulic lifters....

If it's worth anything, my Jeep 4.0 has a cold start lifter tick and oil seepage. Mobil1 HM was the only oil that softened the cold start tick the most (though still there), and no oil seepage. 10w30 has a great add pack and iirc pretty thick at 3.5HTHS. My inline 6 sure is smooth running...

Weed whacker rough running / stalling problem

Sorry for the late reply! Finally got it fixed today. Bought a cheap carb kit off Amazon. Replaced the fuel filter, fuel lines, air filter, primer bulb, and carb. Ran it today and it works about as good as I'd expect. There's still some shimmying/vibration at lower speeds. I forget if I...

Weed whacker rough running / stalling problem

Hey all! I have a 2010 CubCadet weedwhacker/trimmer that I fixed this past winter that's been out of service for the past 5+ years. This used to be my father's favorite trimmer but the upper driveshaft housing/tubing broke where it snap/clicks into the lower housing. He stopped using it for a...
