    Ethanol free gas

My local BP turned into a casey's, but I have P66 and kum and go close, and our last BP across town. No mobile or shell in my town. What's the best quality E0 out of my picks of P66, kum & go or BP? I don't think that's accurate. I doesn't list my BP station I know has E0 and it relies on user...

    Ethanol free gas

Actually, there is a BP station across town. My small engine repair shop said that they could tell if I use Ethanol. I could also choose kum and go, all who have E0

Carrier Infinity Furnace Heat exchanger shot

I realize this is a older thread, but thought I might add my two cents. I also have a carrier Infinity that I installed 23 years ago. Other than a burnt blower thermister, It's only needed filter replacement, but needless to say it needs to be replaced. This furnace is listed under those...

What Keith at Dan Wesson said about 1911 rail lube.

If the next 450 bullets fire like they did yesterday, I would to. Only had one slow feed on the first round of the fifth mag but attribute that to my weak sling shot. I imagine dw is ignoring me because galling rarely or never occurs on a TCP and they don't have time for newbies

What Keith at Dan Wesson said about 1911 rail lube.

I just received my FP-10 and removed the mobil 1 and applied it to the rails of the TCP. I sent DW the picture of my rail at the same time I asked you folks, but will have to trust your opinion as DW never replied.. Needless to say, not very impressed with their customer support. AR500 3/8"...

What Keith at Dan Wesson said about 1911 rail lube.

That's what I was thinking after reading about the galling. But reading that galling is mostly associated with stainless guns and I have a aluminum frame and duty treated slide.. I ran down to walmart, but no Militec 1. Scheels doesn't even carry FP-10 or Militec 1.

What Keith at Dan Wesson said about 1911 rail lube.

Phew... Id better grab some Militec-1 because Ive read DW has had a few issues with rails galling.. And why they don't supply rail oil anymore is beyond me.

What Keith at Dan Wesson said about 1911 rail lube.

This is my first pistol.. When you mentioned that you use gear oil for break-in, I got apprehensive about the mobile 1 I had on the rails and filled a different applicator with amsoil 75w-90 GL-4 manual trans gear oil to reapply. After wiping down the rails I looked closer at the frame rails and...

What Keith at Dan Wesson said about 1911 rail lube.

No lube or take down tool with my TCP.. In fact, the rails and firing pin and bore were filthy, but it had been at the store for a year.

What Keith at Dan Wesson said about 1911 rail lube.

I see now Keith says "Beware of gun cleaners such as CLP that are not polymer safe." which I think means beware of dino or symthetic blend CLP's. And that MIL-PRF-63460F CLP is safe since it's 100% synthetic, but my hoppe's #9 is a blend even though Keith says "I only recommend for the surface"...

What Keith at Dan Wesson said about 1911 rail lube.

Maybe, but Rob didn't mention that the CLP he recommends is not polymer safe and will damage the look of DW Duty finish.

What Keith at Dan Wesson said about 1911 rail lube.

Morning folks.. Just got a new black 9mm TCP and doing some research about lubes and found this.. ========================= Keith DW said: Grease is great is theory. In reality, guns get dirty when shot. Has anyone noticed what happens to grease around dirt? It grabs it like a magnet. So what...

If you could only have one battery charger...

I'm still using a old battery minder 12248 and a old analog Schumacher SE1275A 2/12/75. .. What would you recommend for a "one stop shop" 12v charger Dave? Still the optimate 6?

NorthStar AGM battery charging and sulfation woes with Optima® Digital 1200 Battery Charger.

Wrcsixeight mentioned he would switch to lithium if he didn't own all the AGM batteries that he has.. Maybe I should consider Shorai lithium batteries.. Great reviews and prices aren't bad. $90 for their proprietary charger. Thing is with Odyssey's.. They build car batteries that their own 20...

EFB - great product or a ripoff?

Enhanced Flooded Batteries huh.. So now we have half a dozen totally different battery types and chargers to confuse the consumer even more.. Start & stop cars are said to benefit from EF batteries, but do they require a different charger?.. Will replacing a conventional lead acid with a EFB...

NorthStar AGM battery charging and sulfation woes with Optima® Digital 1200 Battery Charger.

The float on my battery minder was 13.3V and the charge was 14.5 charging a old PC680 that needs replaced. Considering I might be damaging my odyssey's with this charger because it also does not compensate for outside temperature.. Should I continue buying odyssey's and buy their OBC-20A Charger?

NorthStar AGM battery charging and sulfation woes with Optima® Digital 1200 Battery Charger.

Maybe the BatteryMinder charger is why my odyssey's aren't impressing me because I'm only getting 6-7 years out of the odyssey's in my bikes.. I'm tempted to go back to lead acid and buy tenders for everything, but I'll admit I left one Odyssey hooked up to the DRZ which is known for parasitic...
