I have a ditch mower that has 80w-140 in it for gear oil according to the manual. It only takes 1 quart in the gear box and it constantly overheats in three feet high grass. Would anyone recommend anything? Thinking Redline 75W-140.

This came off a 2010 Dodge Ram 3500. Same thing as an Amsoil EaO80. Held up well during this OCI. In service for about 7 months running Rotella T6. The nitrile piece that seals the filter up towards the baseplate side did become a bit stiff. But build quality is pretty good.
