It gets terrible fuel economy. It costs more to run due to this and doesn't seem to perform any better, possibly worse. (based on FFV Taurus I've used it in.)

Another option is to go through the local Ford dealer. They aren't always the cheapest off of the get go, but if you show them a tire rack printout that includes freight they'll match it. I don't know if the GM dealers are doing this, but I know the Ford dealers are, and at the local dealership...
