My 4 speed automatic 2010 Civic is [censored] lucky to break 30 MPG anywhere in combined driving. My CVT Accord however (heavier and more HP) gets the good MPG. Yay technology.

I got Castrol Edge very cheap from Amazon on Black Friday. It's good for 15,000 miles so it's essentially 3 conventional quarts in one. I bought 24 quarts so I'm set for a few years. Price was just north of $2 per quart for both 0W20 and 5W20. Great buy.

I've had many Honda cars and this year bought another. A '16 Honda Accord. Great car! Honda cars have been in my family since 1981. Also bought a CRF450X this year. Had many other dirt bikes before. The X remains a huge favorite so far!

Try and DIY just once. It's easy and satisfying just like an oil change. Takes far less time than driving there and back and then waiting in their ridiculous lobby.

If you're worried about keeping a VW running long term...... it's a little late. Don't matter if you had dealer do oil changes with factory oil and filter..... it's gonna die either way and sooner than expected.

Used Corolla or civic not hard to find and cheap enough.

Have one on my dirt bike. Better longevity than OEM. works just like a Honda trail 90. Still need to shift but no clutch lever required.
