Why doesn't Mobil just use this formulation throughout the M1 line? Their 0W-30 and 5W-30 and 10W-30 would then be ACEA A3/B3/B4 rated. And have they changed the formulation of M1 SS w/ the introduction of extended performance? Is M1 EP "extended performance" on BITOG?

If they were to market this oil for cars, would it make all these euro specs w/o a change in formulation such as additive package or friction stabilizers?

It seems that alot of other 5W-40 and 0W-40 synthetics (and even 0W-30) have a higher VI. This seems a little low for such a supposedly fantastic, ester based 5W-40 wt. synthetic. Or is there more to the picture? Is its HTHS really>4.1?

I know in general the higher the VI the better and the higher the flash point the better. But what are some of the other #'s? What is good for Viscositry @100c? High or low? And at 40c. And what is TBN?

I know it is a great oil but it doesn't carry any car specs. Can this void a warranty? How did you know it would be good?
