    2018 Mazda MX-5 Miata (ND) - Castrol Edge 0w20 - 5900mi

Hi everyone, here's the first UOA for my 2018 Miata. Castrol Edge 0w20 for 5900 miles. I was mainly concerned with the 0w20 sheering down and getting too thin towards the end of the Mazda spec'd 7500 mile OCI. After seeing the UOA, I think the 0w20 can run 7500 miles without issue for my...

Hey everyone, here's the most recent UOA on my 2012 Frontier. Changed a little early on this one because the weather was nice. Going to do my next UOA at 125k probably. Sitting at 115k now. Truck runs great!

    Yamaha WR250R Coolant

So I had a little crash the other day and now I'm replacing the radiator on my 2016 WR250R. I'm not sure what the previous owner put in there, old stuff came out blue, so it could be engine ice which is a common thing in the WRR community. Long story short, I use Zerex Asian Blue in my Nissan...

Drain and fill without filter change

Hey everyone, I've been using Castrol Edge full synthetic and I've been using Mobil 1 extended performance filters. The filter is supposed to be good for 15k miles. My OCI is 5k miles, can I use the filter for 2 or 3 changes? Should I just start using a cheaper filter and change it every time?

Hey everyone, sold my car and got back into a Nissan Frontier. This time around it's a 2012 V6, automatic trans 4x4. The first time I had a 2010 Frontier I went to quick lube places and didn't pay much attention to the maintenance of the truck. This time around I'm older, wiser, and more active...

    '13 Subaru WRX - Rotella T6 5w40 - 3,500mi

Pretty good I guess, there's been some talk lately on the Subaru forums regarding RT6's ability to stand up to high load situations, but mine seems to be doing well. BSL suggests 5500 miles on the next sample, but I'm going to go a little less, probably 4750-5000. Thanks for reading!
