    Mental

As a few of you know I have threatend to sell my GC stash a couple of times and then I get seperation anxiety. I've ran the BC to 5k and was quite impressed. The GC seems to be a little sticker and overall tougher though. I keep going back and forth. VOI's UOI's I'm cross eyed. I get a little...

    BG engine flush

Is BG still making their fine engine flush system? When I was a tech it consisted of pine oil (well it smelled like it) and an additive to use after the flush as a neutralizer. It was really good stuff. But I haven't seen anyone using it. It is a vendor type product: ie only sold to dealers whom...

    Relapsed

So I went back to my "country" hometown to visit family. They just got their only AZ about 2 years ago. I couldn't resist- I'd just check and leave. They had 9qts of G04 and 6qts of (G01!). I bought the G04. The guy even said he had lots of it, he even let me go in the back store room- only...

Thinking again about selling stash of GC

I might be interested in accepting offers on my approx. 100 qt stash of GC M03/M04. I might be willing to deliver in person to parts of the Mid-Atlantic states or meet half-way. I'm thinking $6/qt. Paid on avg. $5. Figure my time/gas/mileage wear and tear plus the rarity of the oil makes it...

    Haven't posted in a while.

Well as I wait for the F1 race in China. I thought I'd post. Yes I have both a DVD and VCR. No I'm not smoking crack. Anywho, Posted a while back about putting 2 qts of GC M02 or so in my 20+ year old lawn tractor and leaf vacuum. I used both today and the leaf vacuum engine for the first...

    Rodeo oil

My wife just had to have an 02 Isuzu Rodeo. I knew of #1 rod bearing failures they were having. However the new DOHC engine was much better than the SOHC motor with the auxilary rocker shafts. I've been using Mobil 1 10-30 (10-30) specified by Isuzu. I believe M1 10-30 to be a good oil but I...

    I'm cured.

I was in TN this morning working and stopped at an old M03/4 AZ source. Low and behold they had a quart of M03. I looked at couple of more bottles and they were M05.... I started to go through their whole inventory (which was resonably large) but something came over me. SANITY. It was glorious...

    Is GC collectable?

Now with all this GC M03/M04 I have I wonder if since they no longer make this specific blend of the brew if it has any value other than to pour into my engine a make it purr like a kitten. What would a 100 quart lot of the above mentioned lubricant be worth? And since there seems to be some...

GC in a Briggs and Stratton

So I've got this 30 year old Briggs and Stratton leaf vacuum motor that smokes like a tar kettle and I'm worried she'll die any day. I only use it in the fall to get up leaves. So the oil is black and burnt as usual -regardless of oil changes and I was thinking of pouring a qt of the magic...

    The hunt

I have over 100 qts of GC m03/m04 yet I have and urge to try to go find more. All this while my home finances are is shambles as I recover from knee surgery and haven't worked for a month. Am I crazy?

    Just an opinion

As a former TDI owner I put a lot of miles on an 01 running Chevron Delo Full Synthetic 5w-40? (Help, I can't even remember the viscosity.) Anyways alot of people on the TDI forum bad mouthed it as a hydrocracked oil. But given it's price and performance it was unbeatable. The problem was that...

    What should I do?

I have over 100qts of GC M03/M04. I finally have come to the conclusion if one didn't pay the money or was not a member of BITOG the original technical analysis (not just a VOA or UOA)is not availible in full to members. Just bits and pieces. As the last post of the GC/Euro oil states not much...

    Base oil of GC

Is German Castrol 0w-30 and ester based oil or a PAO based oil. Or some combination of the above or something completely different? I've read VOA's but no one seems to be able to point me in the right direction regarding what type of synthetic oil it is. Thanks [ July 02, 2005, 05:28 PM...

    VOA on GC

Will someone please point me to the link for the VOA on GC and a UOA if it exists please. I've heard alot about some very extensive testing, yet alone a simple VOA. Some specs and knowledgable opinion of such please. Thank You

    Wait a minute

I was just reading the GC thread that states the GC M04 was gold as we know the M05 is. I just put in 5qts of M04 that was green. What gives?

    Hunting it down.

Found 11 more GCs in Forest City, NC. I bought them out. Also on their shelves was GC M02 with the 502 rating and the black and red lable. They also had quite a bit of the M01. I didn't buy the M01, but I did buy the M02 . I don't know why because I only got 2 quarts and I don't know if "it's...

    Still have the GC

I haven't sold the GC. The more I drive it the more I'm amazed at how smooth and quiet the engine is. UOA's and fuel mileage will likely determine the final outcome. It is a good buy. This scientific test- are the results in? Has anyone got UOA's yet?

    UOA on M1 0w40

This is a partial oil analysis as I couldn't wait till 25k miles to put in the German Castrol 0w30. So the averages are scewed. However, It seems they have taken that in to account to a degree with their comments on my analysis. Interestingly, the iron wear seems to be on course to reach average...
