    Range Report - M&P-10 Sport - Problems.

It amazes me that so many people would deal with a non functioning firearm to this extent. You paid a good amount of money for the rifle, it failed to perform as advertised since day one feeding it ammo it's designed to use........ DONE, it's going back. All this break in stuff is ridiculous. If...

    Range Report - M&P-10 Sport - Problems.

Don’t **** around with it, you paid for a gun that works, not one you should have to tinker with outta the box. Pack it up, take it to the shop you bought it from and have them send it back to S&W. Let them deal with it. Welcome to the world of the .308 AR platform.

    .308/7.62x51mm Ammunition Choices

The M&P Sport 10 optics ready gun is a 1:10 twist barreled rifle. Being so, it will have it’s best Accuracy with 175gr or heavier bullets. 1:10 is a little aggressive for light bullets

What Grease For a Handgun Suppressor?

Hey guys! I know cross posting is frowned upon, but this is such a specific question I didn't know which place exactly it should go. I left a note in the post for the mods in case one needs to go. At any rate, below is a copy of the thread I created in the grease sub forum. Let me know what you...

What Grease For a Handgun Suppressor?

Hello all, I'm posing this question to you guys as the authority on grease to see what you come up with as the one I should use for my suppressors. The grease needed will be used to lubricate the piston system in the suppressor, otherwise know as a Nielson Device or LID ( linear inertial...

do I consider switching to high mileage oil?

In regards to checking oil, I'll eat crow as you are all correct, NO I do not check oil between oil changes. I completely rely on the OLM and any other indicator lamps on the dash. Am I capable, sure, it should be obvious as I'm doing the oil change. Is it out of laziness, no, again if I was...

No doubt! What's strange is that the low oil light has never come on.

do I consider switching to high mileage oil?

I just looked into what is involved to replace valve seals, not happening. IF it's the valve seals, other than oil consumption, are there any ill effects driving like this? And will HM oil make any difference?

do I consider switching to high mileage oil?

You are 110% correct in that these are my assumptions and are purely based on the visual cues available at the time the oil change is done. And again, the oil chance is triggered by the idiot light telling me. Let me look into the sump capacity. And as far as dip stick readings, I can get that...

do I consider switching to high mileage oil?

My engine is a J35A9 in a 4wheel drive thus it is not a VCM. As far as PCV valves, I don't recall ever changing it

And as far as alloys go..... Here's 7075 in the lower, 6013 in the upper and 6061 in the handguard at work in an SBR Beowulf. You will have no issues with your 556 rifle.

There is nothing mil spec about your lower. It dimensionally differs from spec and is not plug and play in all aspects as you found out with your upper. It is not a parts issue at all, simply that both parts are not designed to the same spec sheet as a whole.

Sorry for the late response guys. As mentioned this is a Beowulf though I do have a BMG as well. As also mentioned this is about the extent that the AR-15 platform can be pushed. While from a pressure standpoint it can take much more than the Beowulf, you are limited by the dimensions of the...

do I consider switching to high mileage oil?

Tried to do search with no success. 2006 Honda Pilot had since new. From new till 90,000 miles dealer always did oil changes. From 90,000 to current, 150,000, I have done them with Mobil 5000 5w-20 and either Wix or Fram Ultras. Now, the last few oil changes I have noticed a substantial loss...

    Cable TV Distribution Amplifier Recommendations.

Now that I have some sleep under my belt........ If the splitter/amp configuration is all in the same place, Disconnect the MAIN input feeding the the three way you mentioned. Unscrew the leg that feeds the TV with the issue. Use a barrel and connect the two together. you now have a "straight"...
