This filter came off of my 2009 Ford Focus after 5k miles.

This sample is from my 2009 Focus. This run was Mag 1 5W30 synthetic and a CAT oil filter for 4,265 miles (C&P coming). There was a mixture of highway and short trips on this sample. The car has 165k miles.

This is the filter I have been running on my Focus. I have never seen one cut open before but I got a fancy new filter cutter so I had to try it out.

This run was 4k miles and 6 months it had a mix of highway and a lot of short trips on Pennzoil Platinum 5W30. Also pictured is the filter a Motorcraft FL2062. The truck is 400 miles short of 75k.

I forgot to post these back in December. I decided to do the plugs before my move to Oklahoma from California. They didn't look bad but the gaps were a little big (I can't remember the specifics anymore). I put Motorcraft plugs back in it. Overkill I know, oh well.

Dad sent me a picture when he replaced the valve cover gasket on their Focus. Has usually gotten Chevron supreme most of it's life.

I'm currently working on a water truck with a C13 CAT at work with water in the oil, turned out to be a cracked head. Luckily (not really) it's an International which means half the engine is inside the truck. I thought you all would be interested in seeing some pictures.

This run was 4,985mi and about half of that towing ~2k lbs. It says synpower but it was actually Maxlife full synthetic 5w30.

This run had a bit of towing (probably about 2500 miles) including a camping trip with a hard sided pop-up trailer and moving my cousin to college in eastern Washington. I took a sample to send off, so look out for that.

I did a drain and fill on my sister's Fusion today and have to say it was pretty painless. Pull the drain plug, measure, fill...no drama. I'm glad I did it 'cause that fluid was dark!! Mercon LV seems to do that, it was the same story when I did my truck. Did both at 30k miles. Fusion F150

Changed the oil today in the truck. Here is the filter. 7,165 mi on Maxlife full syn. Castrol Magnatec and another FL2062 went in.
