    Nexen Tires?

I have some type of Nexens on the wife's Impala. They were on there when we bought it, they've been decent tires in the 10 months we've had the car. Tiny bit of road noise above 50mph, but nothing crazy.

401k, quite the milestone! How many 4T65E's has it gone through? Haha

    Lets see the cars!!!!

Here's our two. First is my main car, a 2000 Buick Regal GS. 5th owner, and have owned since May of 2011. Had 107k when I bought it, now it's pushing 180k on the original drivetrain. Slowly beginning to have factory parts fail in the suspension, so I'll be doing those as the money/time allows...

    What, you speeding.

I've been on both sides of the nice/truth and play dumb/lie window here. My very first time I was pulled over, was in the middle of a construction zone on a 45mph main city road. The zone started at a red light, and the state trooper was sitting on the side of my lane facing away from me, and I...

Weekly wash + wax (Meguiars Ultimate Liquid)

Even with the religious use of spray and liquid wax, you'd be surprised with what a clay bar can pick up. I do it every time I wax because my car sits outside under trees at night, and in a gravel dusty parking lot every day.

    eljefino special!

Nice score, hopefully it'll last you for a while! This thread makes me regret dumping my wife's 02 SL1. Last summer it had developed some type of chugging/low rpm surging that happened every so often, and the trans was starting to get a slight attitude(still performed great) so we started...

Flew South, now driving a clunker home

An interesting read! I can't remember the last time I even saw a Cavalier of that generation up here, let alone one that nice. I never noticed that they could come without a passenger side mirror in '93 as well. Gotta love us Northerners and our fascination for rust free southern cars! I...

How often to you "wring out" your vehicles?

I baby my car a little too much for fuel economy, so I probably don't let it stretch it's legs too much. I say a couple times a week I'll let her loose and let that Eaton whine

    Spring car projects anyone?

Hmm..let's see. For the Regal..Struts+mounts at all 4 corners, passenger side LCA,axle, and outer tie rod end, front brakes, and a few minor nick nack things like get the odometer to light up again as well as fix a few rattles. Impala..nothing other than an oil change and a detail...
