98 Honda Civic d16y7 causing confusion...

Does it need a certain time to dry or cure after I reinstall before I can fill with coolant and drive?

I'm starting a job there Tuesday so I'll be picking it up along with the radiator. Should I still apply RTV, and what formula is suggested?

    Oil Dip Stick Stuck

If it breaks you can try compressed air to push it and if worse comes to worse remove the dipstick tube and pull it out. The parts stores should have it in stock for about 12$. Another trick would be to use a fairly long would screw then maybe you can pull it out.

98 Honda Civic d16y7 causing confusion...

I had previously used O' Reillys brand water neck sealant, I've used it twice and still has a slow leak. I believe that leak exacerbated the leak in the radiator.

98 Honda Civic d16y7 causing confusion...

I cannot locate a gasket for the water neck. This is where the upper radiator house meets the block. I'm going to install a new radiator and want to flush the block and refill with 50% dIstilled and antifreeze but want to make sure I have all leaks taken care of. Any advice

Tenant Called Said His Oil Is Full Of Anti Freeze

The cost of the gaskets themselves is not too high. It's the labor that kills it. If it was my car and I couldn't do it myself or have a friend help for a reasonable price then a head gasket means my car is done. Hate to say it but if the tenant can't do it himself or with your help he's gonna...

    08 suzuki srx 4 transmission fluid exchange/filter

129 for fluid exchange and then 70 for the pan drop filter and gasket. Then 25 off for a donation to the mda so it would have been about 185

    08 suzuki srx 4 transmission fluid exchange/filter

It was the managers that said it wasn't possible and I was in no position to argue.

    08 suzuki srx 4 transmission fluid exchange/filter

Guest came in requesting this service. I believed I was capable of handling but very little info or guides are available. They said since trans pan ran vertical we wouldn't do it. I was rather disappointed. Any info would be appreciated.

    Neglected rear diff

To the OP, many differentials are not equipped with a magnetic plug. The location on the Blazers plug is prone to rounding out due to it's location and was most likely replaced when the last service was performed. I wouldn't consider that too much of a problem personally.

    How long is lifetime

I've done power steering by request but it's not actually one of the services we offer. And the center I work at actually has a policy regarding brake fluid. We are not even supposed to open the reservoir.

    How long is lifetime

I work at Jiffy Lube and wouldn't ever suggest a service based on fluid appearance. I usually just try to inform guests of vehicle manufacturer recommendations. We don't actually flush the trans either, it's more of an exchange. Then of course there is the drain and fills as well.

True, but seeing as how it's the only car I own and only physical document I had. I wish the search option had more options to find more info regarding this.

Pipe plug socket vs. ratchet drive

For some of the really stuck ones or heavily damaged, sometimes due to location like on a Blazer/Jimmy I use a breaker bar we have which is basically a 3/8 head without the ball or ratcheting action. I just reinstall with a ratchet. Barely more than hand tight plus a couple ratchets.

    Oil Recommendation-2015 Honda Accord V6

I stand corrected on technical aspect. Normal driving conditions does say 7500 for oil filter. But at the same time the Honda service dept. Says they change the filter every time.
