Toyota Spin-on OEM same as Mazda little filter

Interestingly enough, looks like Toyota moved to a smaller filter in this case 6607 size comparatively in Fram. Both Mazda and Toyota/Denso seem to have move production to Thailand. Couldn’t tell the difference between the two I thought it was using the larger 4967 size according to Fram parts...

Aluminum oil drain plug on OEM Mazda3

I recently purchased some magnetic oil drain plug from amazon and turns out they were made of aluminum. Is it safe to use in the OEM pans? I was under the impression that they were interchangeable but I’m afraid it’s only for racing engines Any ideas? Thanks

NAPA Pro select filters quality (NSF 27002)

How has everyone’s experience been with Napa’s pro select? I’ve been meaning to try them out based on the many cut opens. I’ve been using OEM Mazda and Ultras for the past year but today I finished my stockpile I’m looking at the NSF 27002 which happens to be on sale this week for $6 after...

Maintenance on a "sealed for life transmission

I'm thinking of doing a drain and fill but I'm wondering if I should go through the hassle of dropping the pan to just change the filter. There is about 18 bolts and would need to apply RTV sealant as it doesn't come with gasket TIA

    Window tinting recommendations

Just recently decided to tint my windows and I was wondering what would be the perfect VLT% (Visible light transmitted) ? I'm thinking of 15% but I'm not sure if would be too dark for driving at night or if cops would be all over me for it. The other option was 30% but it looked too clear...

I know Shell owns both but do they share the same oil? I recently got myself few cases of Motomaster(CT) Formula1 0w20 which is made by Shell Canada, so I am wondering if there is any difference between them? I've never seen an UOA for Formula1

Was NAPA trying to rip me off?

So I went to check the prices of Napa filters and found that Golds were $16 + env fee (dafak?) + taxes. $16 for a normal filter is ridiculous and I've never been charged environment fee for a filter before. I could have bought an ultra and a few pops with that.

Is it safe to drive with a slight vibration?

So I recently replaced my steelies with alloys but after driving them, I noticed a slight vibration at speeds greater than 75mph on the wheels; so I took them to get a diagnosis of them. After they did the diagnosis, they found out that my wheels did not perfectly fit my hub where it would...
