    rear axle grease?

I worked in the bike industry for many years, there is no such thing as "bike specific" grease. The marked up grease sold as bicycle grease is nothing unique other than you'll pay a lot more than just going and getting bearing grease from a hardware or automotive store. You'll pay as much for a...

They are Top Tier certified, haven't ever used it as they aren't around my parts but I've seen lots of them in my travels.

    M1 or Magnatec 18 2.7 F150

I run Magnatec which I have been able to stock up on at less than $4 per quart. But honestly it doesn't matter, if it meets the minimum Ford spec for the engine than it will work fine.

Are SN+ rated conventional oils ecoboost compatible?

Yes, Chevron Supreme meets Ford's spec for the Eco-Boost engines https://cglapps.chevron.com/sdspds/PDSDetailPage.aspx?docDataId=533194&docFormat=PDF

    Ecoboost and synthetic oils.

There are some conventional and most semi-synthetics that meet Ford's requirements for the Ecoboost engines. Those who claim a full synthetic changed frequently is necessary have to my knowledge never produced facts to back this up. There are however lots of UOA's with semi-synthetics in...

    Best cheap laptop.

Most laptops come without DVD drives these days, Windows, Mac, or Chrome OS. Chromebooks with at least 4gb RAM will be more than sufficient, have great battery life, and are inexpensive. I got my kids each an Acer 2 in 1 for Christmas...they were $200 each on sale and have access to the Google...

    Best Brand of Gasoline

I usually buy from Chevron for a few reasons. 1) It's top tier and uses one of the most well tested and respected additives. Since I run 92 Supreme it comes with high doses of Techron. I've never had a fuel related issue buying from Chevron for over 30 years. 2) It's my local station and locally...

    Boxer engines and oil burning

I owned a 1994 Subaru with a the 2.2 Boxer engine for 14 years and 160k miles, never burned a drop even when I switched it from conventional to synthetic and went to 6k OCI's at 108k miles.

    Shaved head anyone? Why?

Due to thinning hair, I have either kept my head shaved or clipper length (no attachments) for 15 years. And yes, you can get a sunburn, that's why they make hats with sun protection or you can put sunscreen on your head...it's not that hard.

    Android Oreo 8.0

Motorola uses a pretty much pure Android with no skins over it. This allows it to run light without a bunch of bloat which is good because the G6 is an economy phone (I'm using a G5 Plus so no judgment here). I don't care for the stock launcher so I use Evie on it and it runs just fine plus you...

    Fram Ultra Users - question

When I had my 3.5 Eco-Boost F150, I would run them two OCi's at 5-6k per oil change. This was still well below their rated 15-20k and I'm sure I could have run them a third OCI without issues. The filter location on these engines is a bit of a PITA to get to and the oil draining out would make a...
