    Any other CX-9 owners here?

    Some models... not sure which years, have the very problematic Ford PTU... Power Transfer Unit. One of those "fluid never needs changing" designs. Explorers, Flex, Lincoln Mkx and Edge of certain model years were all plagued with it.

    walmart = zero bicycles

    I learned my lesson about Walmart bikes the hard way and it took me 3-4 bikes to learn it. All simple beach cruisers but the Huffy and Schwinn Chinese offerings are garbage. Our beach house environment eats them up. Plus, the basic components are crap... Chains, sprockets, coatings. I bought a...

    TW Seal & Shine

    I've toyed with the ceramic sprays and they are OK but I'm sticking with TW SnS and TW, Ice Spray as my go to. They are so easy to apply, look great and last far longer than you'd expect.

    Subaru Quality Strikes Again!!!

    I fell for the Subaru scam years ago and bought an Outback wagon. Never again. Junk science at its best. The boxer engine is inherently flawed. They n ever did fix the head gasket issue. Garbage brand.

    Question for pour over coffee users.

    There are several machines that provide pour over quality... assuming good beans and a decent burr grinder. There is validity to the SCA Golden Cup standard. Moccamaster is at the top in terms of price... but there are others not so pricey. Oxo, Breville, Melitta, Bonovita, Bunn, Motif(US...

    2016 Lexus RX350 Oil Change change

    Changing the oil in my 2016 RX350 for the second time since I've owned it. First OC I used M1 0W-20 Advanced Fuel Economy and a Toyota OEM filter. This time around I'm going with PP and a Super Tech filter. I think it's pretty much all the same with 6000-7500 mile OCI. Just changed the oil in my...

    TW Ceramic Spray First Time

    I didn't see the part about buffing out with a slightly damp MF cloth. I'll try that next time. I have three full bottles of ceramic spray wax now. As far as applying a small amount on the application cloth,, I know that I am not applying too much between the cloth with a little product and a...

    TW Ceramic Spray First Time

    Washed and dried my wife's Lexus ES350 today since it was sunny, dry, cooler and breezy. After drying I decided to try the new bottle of TW Ceramic Hybrid spray. The car is Lexus Nightfall Mica , which is more or less a sapphire blue metallic. While the beading may be spectacular and it may last...

    Tire choice 2016 Lexus es 350

    "You'll love'em in the torrential downpours of rain." That was the deciding factor for the RT43s over the Pirellis. No dedicated winter tires. But we've had a combination of SUV and sedan in our garage for the last 10 years. So one vehicle has always had AWD or 4WD for whatever winter throws at...

    Thanks for your solid input. I couldn't find any currently available rebates for General. Seems the last offer expired end of April. I have an RX too. It's my car... 2016. I bought it back in October with 25K on it. It came with four brand new Laufenn tires... a Hankook derivative. So far...

    I went with the General Altimax RT43s. $381.00 out the door, no tax, $40 discount for picking them up at the warehouse. My mechanic will mount them. $20-$25.
