    2015 Dodge durango OEM filter pics 2551 miles

    Just bought this Durango with 18000 miles on it. OCI meter said last reset 2551 miles and the Castrol sticker in the window matched and said 5W-20. This filter looks pretty wavy to me, not dirty just wavy. Anyway Castrol 5W-20 titanium Syn and K&N went back in.

    PL14612 12K with 5-30 M1 extended cut

    08 350 Z , 16 months, no tears looks fine, normal wavy PL1 wide at seam. Fran ultra and M1 extended went back in.

    ACdelco from GM5.3 with 5K

    No tears all looked good the ADBV seemed a little stiff but may not have been a big deal. The seam is glued and I was able to push pretty hard on the pleats before they tore, no pics of tears because I did it. However I will say it too more to make these tear than I remember the PL1 taking LOL...

    Well a lot of the tears I have seen posted looked self induced to me. The material is tight by the seam and doesn't take a big push to tear it.     ran 9K, 21 months all looked fine. Mobile 5-30, towing and street and off road. The seam was spread pretty wide but no tears.     Seems like I bought it around 86 or 87 but not positive. Couldn't make myself run it but after cutting it I'm sure it would have been fine for 3-4K OCI but not for the longer synthetic runs.

    11K miles 25 MO mobile 5-30 1999 mercury sable with 124K no burn no leaks town and highway. Filter looks good no tears, I always probe the pleats with an aluminum Oring removal tool to be sure.

    Subaru OEM blue can leaking

    how are aFe dry filters compared to Amsoil?

    I cannot find amsoil for everything, looks like I can find some aFe dry for the rest except the K&N RC-5000 still looking for that one.
