    It's force of habit mentioning Malone with dpf. Thanks for the info guys, I will look into another oil such as the 0w40 or another with higher hths.

    I appreciate the replies. I don't have a dpf or stock cats anymore. I have a custom downpipe with a high flow cat to the stock muffler. I know I don't require a low ash oil anymore. The hths viscosity is something I didn't look at: The esp is ~3.5, the regular is ~3.0. VW calls for a '507'...
