I use the blue OEM on my Crosstrek with 5K OCIs.

I used to think 0w-20 was too thin for my Subaru Crosstrek. Now I think it’s the ideal weight seeing all the 16s and now 8s.

I had four free oil changes when I bought my Subaru Crosstrek. I now have 105K miles and I haven’t brought it in for the first one.

I’ve read far too many stories of Subaru owners draining the trans fluid thinking it’s the engine oil plug. Maybe Subaru needs to color code their plugs for the non-research type.

Don’t know about other brands, but the Subaru ones come with grease on the inside diameter.

I wait for the BOGO from Autozone. They do it periodically.

Knocking/vibration sound when going over minor imperfections at idle speed (in drive but foot off the gas) 105,300 miles. Seems fairly easy, but any tips?

Thanks for the replies, everyone. This is the first time I've seen a set of pads that only have one wear indicator. How much money could Centric have saved?

My rear brake pads and discs just arrived from RA and noticed only one pad has a wear indicator. I’m certain it goes on the inside, but does it matter if it goes on the driver or passenger side? 2015 Subaru Crosstrek 105K miles Centric pads and discs. Thanks!

Walking the oil/filter isle at Walmart and thinking about the next oil change. Doesn’t matter if I just did one.

I have one. I duct tape the top of the filter so it’ll grip better.

Those Kenmore washer and dryers would last forever. Especially the ivory colored ones. I think I still have a Sears shopping bag somewhere.
