I picked up six quarts today at my local Wal Mart for my 2016 Chevy Colorado. You have to look close under the Dexos 1 symbol but it indeed says Gen 2 approved.

I've been interested in trying this filter but I priced one the other day and the price was a little over $17 with tax. Is it worth the money? How does it compare to say a Fram Ultra or Amsoil EA filter? Any thoughts are appreciated.

Installed 5 quarts of 10w-30 Signature Series and a Fram Ultra XG3387 filter on my low-mile 1998 Buick Century with the 3.1 V6. The engine seems really smooth on this stuff. Previous fill was Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 10w-30.
