    Apple ][ 1983 8kb memory 300 baud modem cassette-tape storage color-tv screen. later upgraded memory to 48k and modem to 1200 baud and thought I was on Top of the World!! later put a z80 card with 256kb - learned CPM, then 'there was nothing I couldn't do'!

    2005 Chevy Express 3500 Van 317205 miles!! about 12 quarts Valvoline Maxlife ATF (drain/fill then 'flush' w/cooler line till 'clear' - about 3 quarts). been doing above about every 80k miles (with V.Max.L) - tranny still runs/shifts like NEW!

    Alternator screeches for 2 months then magically fixes itself.

    Maybe the battery was low, and has now finally made it up to full charge, so less load on alternator and belt slipping less. Did you put a new battery, or charge overnight with charger when you first got the car?
