Very hot temps here in Southern California, been using "Castrol Power1 4T 10W-50" full synthetic motorcycle oil, in my bike...2018 Ninja 400...it has a slipper clutch as well...this stuff works really well...you can find it at Wally World for around $10-11qt or on Amazon for $7-8qt...

I've been using Mobil 1 or Castrol (Edge now) synthetic oils for 30+ yrs...OCI 5K (Could go longer, but its very hot/dusty climate where I live, just being safe)...never had a problem with anything engine related...vehicles always get great mileage, run smooth

Yes...same oil brand (Mobile 1), same weight (0W-20), same Honda oil filter, and same exact commute everyday for the past 10yrs...89 miles to work, and 89 home... I think the weaker engine in the Insight also was a major factor, it was just gutless, and revved really really high going up...
